Periwinkle Flower

Fall 2022 4" x 4" This flower is native to Europe, but has also been used a lot for African American cemeteries at the end of slavery in the US. Today the Periwinkle Incentive uses the flower to locate burials of enslaved people. The flower has also been placed in babies cribs to keep them safe in the Ukraine, and planted on graves of babies gone too soon in Italy. The flower is often used in Ukranian weddings to represent love that lasts. This flower is often a symbol of unconditional or everlasting love, and friendship.
